The forger's workshop: preparatory sketches, archive photographs, tools, punches, and fragments of spoiled panels. This section contains a collection of sketches, study material and tools belonging to the various artists. There are about seventy different punches used by Joni to appropriately decorate the surfaces of his gold backgrounds, as well as fragments of painted panels spoiled in the process of artificial ageing.
